The Shaker Barn
housing our main stable was originally located at the Hancock Shaker
Village down the road from BEC and moved to the property in the 1930's.
The barn houses 13 stalls, a wash stall, two grooming stalls, a large
heated tack room with individual lockers and is connected to an indoor
arena that will soon be converted to new 12 x 12 stalls. Our Barn
Manager also resides in an apartment in the building, providing piece of
mind for our boarders that someone is always close by.
Along with Berkshire Equestrian Center,
the property is home to The Inn
at Richmond - A Relaxing and Gracious Bed and Breakfast which
includes a main house and four cottages. |

| Indoor Arena ...
Built in 2008,
our heated indoor arena measures 80 x 200 square
feet will enables BEC to provide year-round lessons, host clinics and
shows and serve as a refuge for boarders to ride during the cold New
England winters. Area Equestrians can also trailer their horses to
BEC to use the arena for a monthly fee.
The arena includes a bi-level viewing area, office space, kitchen
facilities and massage area. It's a perfect place for meetings,
gatherings and parties. Attention has been given to ensure the facility is
energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
